The Storehouse Foodbank collects food for families in need in Wellington and surrounding areas, from Bloomfield to Ameliasburgh, Consecon and Carrying Place.

We are we are open for donations from 9-3 and Senior & Single Clients from 10-Noon and Families from 1-3 p.m. Special hours can be arranged for those who can’t make it on Wednesday as well as deliveries for those clients who are shut in. We give out meat, milk, margarine, eggs, bread and fresh produce.

The Storehouse is currently serving 372 individuals twice a month with basic necessities, including many seniors dealing with isolation and a fixed income. The need has increased over the years of operation and also goes up at the holidays. All clients are treated with compassion, dignity and absolute respect for privacy. The Storehouse is run entirely by volunteers with the benefit of community donations. No salaries are paid, and the cost of gas, vehicle repairs and mileage are donated as our way of giving back to the community.

Why not make a monetary donation to your local food bank in their honour? Tax receipts issued.

Memorial Donations

We respect the dignity and sensitivity that come with the passing of a loved one. Some families do not wish flowers but would prefer donations to a charity.
