What a great day at the Wellington Legion for our Storehouse Foodbank Christmas Stocking Fund paint fundraiser!  Thank you to the 23 participants who came out for an afternoon of creativity and community spirit. Thank you to Dodi Allen and Jennifer Derraugh who volunteered their time to teach the paint event.  Thank you to the Wellington Legion Branch 160 who donated the hall for the event and thank you to Flame and Smith who provided 5 loaves of sourdough bread that went home with 5 door prize winners and thank you to Christine Rutter who gifted each participant a takeaway package. We really appreciate everyone’s generous support to helping us provide warm pj’s and throws to the children this Christmas Season.

Thank you so much to the Romeo Club Wellington for their generous donation of $1000 to the Storehouse Foodbank Christmas Stocking Fund. The Stocking Fund purchases warm pajamas and throws for the Foodbank’s children at Christmas.

Thank you to Carson Arthur and General Manager Mark Barranger-Mitchell of Carson’s Garden + Market for dropping off the $600 that was raised from the End of Summer Party Dunk Tank fundraiser. Thank you to Mark for organizing this fun fundraiser for the foodbank. A special thank you to everyone supported the event and for making a difference to others in our community!

Thank you so much for the fresh produce we recieved today from Consecon Community Garden and their three other contributors Bonnie Uhryn, Susan Howard and Geetha Upadhyaya. Thank you for making a difference to others!

Thank you to Carson’s Garden + Market, the local Girl Guides Troop who planted the community garden beds for the Foodbank’s, to Mark Kenneth for teaching them how to make wild flower seed balls and to West Coast Seeds for donating the seeds. Thank you everyone  for all your hard work and for making a difference to others in our PEC communities!
