Thank you to Food to Share and all the volunteers who made apple crumble and carrot-butternut soup for our foodbank clients on Tuesday, Jan. 12 and over 100 containers of potato leek soup on Wednesday, Jan. 13. Thank you everyone for all your hard work and dedication we really appreciate all you do for us.
I also want to thank the Wellington United Church and the Wellington Legion for allowing us to use their facilities to prepare and cook all the food. Thank you to all the farmers and individuals who have donated all the produce to Food To Share. We couldn’t do it without you, we really appreciate it. It’s so nice to live in a community where everyone comes together to help their neighbour. Please note we are very happy and excited about being able to offer our clients at the foodbank some tasty healthy choices thanks to everyone involved.
