Today we donated 60 After the Bell bags and a case of apples to the Roc Youth Centre. The food packs allows young people to take home food to fill the gaps when other food supports – like the school breakfast or lunch programs are not available. Food Banks Canada gave us 8 weeks worth of food packs with the understanding that many kids don’t have school-based food program support during the summer. After the Bell is generously supported by fresh food sponsor Subway Canada.
