Friday, November 23, 6:30 p.m., Essroc Arena in Wellington. Please bring a non-perishable food item, toiletries, dish or laundry soap to help out the local foodbank. Help make a difference in our community!

Thank you so much to the members of the District Rotary Event! The event was hosted by the Wellington & Picton Rotary Clubs. They made 100 birthday bags for our foodbank and 100 for the Picton United Church Foodbank! The Birthday bags consist of cake mix, icing, candles, balloons, streamers, etc. Everything in the bags are to assist our clients with birthday celebrations! Thank you for making such a difference in our community! We really appreciate everything you do!

To Rockn’ Rogers Pizza & Grill for their Annual Snowsuit Drive, this year they raised $3414.55. Thankyou to the Reasons, Midnight DJ and Chris Lone for the wonderful entertainment! Thankyou to PEC Fire Station 7 for their Public Education, Ashley & Emily Burris, Kristie’s Petting Zoo, Sandi Wight from The Old Greenhouse Ice Cream Shop for the use of her property, Gary Parks for the bales of hay to sit on, Carr Portable Toilets, Fantastic Face & Body Art, Dianne O’Brien, Ray & Sally Pennell, Randy Dempsey, Linda & Jay Pilling, Essential Relaxation, Ameliasburgh Fair Board, Hillier Recreation Committee, Stanner’s Vineyard, Barb Hunter PEC Farms, Joan Boyd, Bill Mitchell, Fables, Fantasy & Fairy Tales, Peggy deWitt, Fred Herbert – Picton Canadian Tire, Brenda & Wayne Everall. Rachel Reid and Jay Humble of Wellington Home Hardware presented Linda Downey with $1025 for The Storehouse Foodbank. Thankyou to Wellington Home Hardware who raised this money from their Annual Pumpkinfest Fundraiser and their Anniversary Open House. The lucky winner of the Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer was Ryan Monkman. We thankyou for helping others and for making a difference in our community!

OPEN WEDNESDAYS for All clients 10am-12pm and again 1pm -3pm. Donations accepted Wednesdays 9-3pm or by appointment.
