Kid’s Cooking Classes A Great Success!

We have 15 children enrolled – First class January 16 we let the children design their aprons, they made a salad and then homemade Macn Cheese verses Kraft Dinner and they decorated their own cupcake, January 23 – we made Chicken Pot Pie and Cinnamon Rolls. On January 23 we also had Sarah Sandham a registered Dietician and Health Promotor with Prince Edward Family Health Team come in and do a Health Food quiz with the children, she offered some great advice to the children on how to eat healthier and answered their questions.

First week of cooking classes on Jan. 16 the class made a salad, quiche and a tilapia dish, 2nd week Jan. 23 they made chicken pot pie. On Jan. 23 we invited Sarah Sandham a registered Dietician and Health Promotor from Prince Edward Family Health Team to come in and she answered questions on eating healthier.

OPEN WEDNESDAYS for All clients 10am-12pm and again 1pm -3pm. Donations accepted Wednesdays 9-3pm or by appointment.
