Thank you to the Prince Edward Agricultural Society who donated $1000 towards our cause on Thursday. On October 3 they hosted a Fall Drive-thru Festival at the Picton Fair Grounds which they accepted donations at the exit of the event with the intent of supporting local charities. We thank everyone who donated towards this great event and for making a difference in your communities!

Yesterday’s After the Bell bags contained these extra fruit and vegetables which was given to families in need. The food packs allows young people to take home food to fill the gaps when other food supports – like the school breakfast or lunch programs are not available. Food Banks Canada gave us 16weeks worth of food packs with the understanding that many kids don’t have school-based food program support during the summer. After the Bell is generously supported by fresh food sponsor Subway Canada. Lead partner Loblaw, Supporters – Kellogg Canada, Nestle, McCormick Canada and Mondelez and Sponsors CIBC, Hershey Canada, Quaker, The Global Foodbanking Network, West Rock, Sysco. Food Partners are Clover Leaf Seafoods, Dare Foods Ltd., Kellogg Canada, MadeGood Foods Canada, Mondelez International Inc., Organic Meadow, Ozery Family Bakery, Pepsi Co and Wowbutter Foods.
