Thank you so much to all the foodbank volunteers for all your hard work this past week! I know it was a bit more busier than normal but I want you all to know how much I appreciate each and everyone of you! Because of your dedication we were able to make Easter special for others in our communities! I did the count from last week and this week and between boxes and bags for Easter and Easter bunny treats we gave out just over 400 boxes and bags. Thank you so much to all our donors for helping us ensure others in our communities are well taken care of, we couldn’t do what we do without you. We want you to know how much we appreciate each and everyone of you and wish you all a safe and happy Easter weekend!
Thank you so much to Linda Donville who used her Birthday money to pay for meals from Idle Wild for the seniors today as a nice Easter treat! Thank you Linda for thinking of others during these difficult times! Thank you Idle Wild for all your hard work in preparing Chicken Chowmein and Pork and Lima Bean Soup. The Foodbank also gave each senior a Lindt Bunny from funds that were donated from an anonymous donor.
Thank you so much to Sugarbush Vineyards and Winery and to everyone who donated towards their food drive. Today Sally Peck presented the foodbank with a cheque for $509.40 and 6 big bags of groceries. Thank you for making a difference to others in our communities.
