Thank you Orchard Drive Dari Bar for the Roast Beef Dinners, Rockn’ Rogers for the Meat Loaf Meals and My Pies for the Quiche Meals this month. Thank you Wendy Hendry for delivering the meals in the senior apartment building. Thank you for making a difference during these difficult times! We are proud participates of the After the Bell program. After the Bell support foodbanks to provide kids who are experiencing hunger with increased access to much needed nutritious food during summer when the need is higher due to many school centred support programs not being available. Each week we add fruit and vegetables to each healthy food pack. Today After The Bell, Sept 29, apple, banana, mini cuke, grape tomatoes, cheesestring and yogurt tube. Food Banks Canada is the driver of this program and we one of the chosen recipients. We are very grateful to be able to offer this wonderful program to our clients during these difficult times. After the Bell is generously supported by fresh partners Subway Canada along with Air Canada Foundation, Bayer, McCormick Canada, Nestle, Quaker, Trucks for Change, Hershey Canada, Kellogg Canada, Mondelez, Thomas Large & Singer (TLS), International Paper, Janssen, SunRype and WestRock. Thank you to the Consecon United Church and to all those in the community who donated food and clothing to the foodbank into the trailer that was parked at the church.
