Thank you so much Kyle owner of Flossies Sandwich Parlor for all your hard work in making and for donating 55 Roasted Chicken, bacon, smoked tomatoes, pesto (cashews/garlic lemon and basil) and garlic aioli Wraps for the seniors this Wednesday, October 13. Thank you for making such a huge difference to others in our community.
Thank you so much to the wonderful ladies at the Wellings of Picton and the lady from Hallowell House for all their hard work in knitting hats, mittens, neck warmers and scarves to help keep the children warm this winter. Presenting the beautiful items to the foodbank on Wednesday, October 13 were Prince Edward County Lion members John Whyte and Suzanne Moulton. The Lions Club provided the wool, patterns, needles, etc. This project was spearheaded by Lions members Suzanne Moulton and Kathy Marchen. Thank you everyone for making a difference to the children in our communities.
Thank you so much to the Community Foundation for Kingston and Area who provided the Storehouse Foodbank with a 7,500 grant from the Stark Family Fund to support our Senior Meals Program. Thank you Rockn’ Rogers for making 50 delicious Lasagna meals and brownies. Thank you Wendy Hendry for delivering the meals in the senior apartment building. Thank you for making a difference during these difficult times!
