Thank you Food to Share volunteers – Heather Ford who was lead cook with help from Paul Denison and Anne McDonald for making 40 senior meals for our clients today at the Wellington Arena – Shake and Bake Pork Chops with Roasted Cauliflower and Carrots.#foodtoshare

This beautiful Wellington girl Sharon Ellis-Dempsey has never forgotten the children in her hometown even though she resides in Nova Scotia. She has mailed us Back Packs, back to school supplies and feminine products again this year! She always supports our snowsuit fund too and watches Facebook to see what we might be in need of. Thank you Sharon for having such a generous, caring heart and for making a difference to the children in your hometown!

The Storehouse is so happy to be part of Food Banks Canada After The Bell Program again this year. On July 19 we added an apple, grapes, plums, mini pepper and cucumbers, cheese string and a yogurt tube to the healthy food packs. Each child in need receives these healthy food packs throughout the summer.

Thank you Aynsley Hoornweg for doing a bake sale for the Food Bank. Atnsley sold banana muffins, oatmeal cookies, and butter tarts on a table set up on her Grandparent’s Dave and Joan Crawford’s front yard. People were super nice and gave a little bit extra, she raised $60.50. Thank you Aynsley for making a difference to others in our community!

Thank you so much to Lakeshore Farms Market for donating all these new backpacks, lunch pails and pencil cases! Thanks Wendy for doing all the shopping for them. We really appreciate all you do to make a difference to others in your community.
