Food To Share volunteers made hamburger soup and homemade biscuits for the Wellington Food Bank senior meals this week. Thanks to the volunteers, the drivers, and The County for the use of the kitchen at Wellington arena. We are grateful for your support and for making a difference caring for others. #foodtoshare

We are grateful for all the support throughout the year from Branch 509 Royal Canadian Legion in Consecon. This week, Dave Shepherd, 1st VP, presented The Storehouse Food Bank with a generous donation of $850 from their Lottery Fund. Thank you for thinking of others and for making a difference in our community!

Neighbours helping neighbours! Thank you to the members of Rednersville Albury Community Church for their generous donations each month. We received 2 quilts and about $400 in food donations! Thanks for helping us care for families in need. Together we can make a difference! (more…)

The BARN BANDits, a local band, held a private fundraising event at the Consecon Legion on January 25, with proceeds split between the Consecon Legion and The Storehouse Food Bank. Cynthia was presented with a cheque for $315 from members Thomas De Rosa and Faye Forma. Thanks for making a difference, helping families in need. We are grateful for your support!

We are so fortunate to have a partner like County Kids Read! They gave us 66 books this week in a variety of genres and for different age groups. Thanks for making a difference and for providing new books for families. Thank you to Lee Scott for selecting the books, and to Wendy Matthews for delivering them .
