Thank you so much Chantal Jeffrey of Tabersnack, volunteers Peggy Voigt and Eric Walsh for all your hard work today in making 104 hearty, nutritional Beef Stew Senior Meals for the seniors in Consecon and our senior clients that come to the foodbank. Thank you so much Donna Morris for doing the deliveries in Consecon. Thank you Wellington Legion for use of the kitchen and your facility. We are very excited, this is our first time making meals for the seniors in Consecon, Hillier, Carrying Place and the Ameliasburgh area. We plan on this being a weekly program til late spring.

Wow the volunteers sure got spoiled today! Thank you Inge Scott for the delicious cherry tarts and dream whip and thank you Shelly Fredericks for the amazing cookies which is a volunteer favourite as you know. Needless to say they were all eaten up in no time. We really appreciate the treats, your hard work and for thinking of us!

Our angels from Rockn’ Rogers were at it again! Thank you so much for helping us out with making the 60 senior Valentines Day meals so special – Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, vegetables and date squares. Thank you Christine Gillespie for your dedication each week in delivering the meals for us, you are an amazing woman with a great big heart! We appreciate each and everyone of you in helping us make a difference to others in our community!
