Rock’n Rogers & Foodbank SNOWSUIT FUNDRAISER starts now til December 2. We will have three baskets with gift cards to buy tickets on for only $2 each. 1st Basket is from Harwood Estate Vineyard & Winery value $240 with a $50 Rockn Rogers gift card, total value $290. Basket includes – 2016 Windward White, Unoaked Chardonnay, 2017 Pinot Gris,2017 St. Laurent, 2017 Admiral Blend, 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2015 Meritage, Herbes Cheddar Biscuits, Mango Sour Sauce, Apple Masala Chutney, Chicken Spice Recipe Cards and 4 Tasting Tickets. Tickets available in Wellington at Rock’n Rodgers 186 Main St., Wellington Home Hardware 289 Main Street, Louise Kedro 22 Heritage Drive WOTL, tickets will

After The Bell

We are proud participates of the After the Bell program. After the Bell support foodbanks to provide kids who are experiencing hunger with increased access to much needed nutritious food during summer when the need is higher due to many school centred support programs not being available. Each week we add fruit and vegetables to each healthy food pack. This week After The Bell, September 1, we added Apple, banana, mini cucumber, tomato and yogurt drink. Food Banks Canada is the driver of this program and we one of the chosen recipients. We are very grateful to be able to offer this wonderful program to our clients during these difficult times. After the Bell is generously supported by fresh partners Subway Canada along with Air Canada Foundation, Bayer, McCormick Canada, Nestle, Quaker, Trucks for Change, Hershey Canada, Kellogg Canada, Mondelez, Thomas Large & Singer (TLS), International Paper, Janssen, SunRype and WestRock. Thank you so much to United Way Hastings & Prince Edward who gave our foodbank and Picton United Church Foodbank 20 boxes each of prepackaged meals from the Day of Caring event. Thank everyone for all your hard word in preparing the packages and for making a difference to others in our communities.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated to our Cram the Cruiser Fundraiser today! We received cash, 276 bags of food and 10 big boxes full of groceries! Also thank you to all the residents at Wellington on the Lake who donated lunch food items this week either by bringing them into the foodbank or leaving them at our pickup spot at WOTL. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped unload, sort and put away all the items at the foodbank after the fundraiser today, your help was very much appreciated. Thank you to all the Pierson’s Foodland staff for their hard work in helping us with this fundraiser. Thank you to PEC Auxiliary OPP for everything, you guys are amazing! Thank you everyone for making a difference in our community!
