There were 40 shares on her various social media platforms which Jeanette donated $10 for each share for a grand total of $400 raised for the foodbank. Thank you so much to Closson Chase Vineyards Inc. who donated $1000 towards the foodbank today. Through their online campaign they raised $170 and their Campaign during the Closson Crawl raised another $310, just under $500. Closson Chase Vineyard then matched the contributions and bumped up the total to $1000. Thank you so much to the Community Foundation for Kingston and Area for providing the Storehouse Foodbank with a 7,500 grant from the Stark Family Fund to support our Senior Meals Program. Chef Michael Hoys Meatloaf and Mashed Potato Meals that were delivered today were supported by these funds! Thank you for making a difference during these difficult times!
Thank you so much to the Bloomfield and Area Business Association who donated $400 to the foodbank. In December they held a series of winter events, including a Minature Snow Village in the Bloomfield United Church. People were generous with their donations so the Business Association were able to disperse to several charities in the County.
