Last week families picked up backpacks AND books from County Kids Read! What a great partnership, bringing books to families and children, inspiring a love of reading and learning, and spreading joy to those in need. 
Food to Share: Today’s Napa valley salad and teriyaki chicken were made by Janet, Tanya, Ana and Linda. We are grateful to all of the volunteers for their passion and commitment to this program. Thanks to the County for the use of the Wellington arena kitchen, and to Paul for making the deliveries to seniors. Caring and sharing and making a difference!
Thanks for the generous support for our Back To School fundraiser! We have received over 60 backpacks, school supplies, water bottles, lunch bags, and monetary donations . Thanks to Evan Nash and his team at Wellington Home Hardware for their ongoing support with this initiative, and to our fabulous community for always being there when we need your help. Thanks to the Tuesday Ladies Golf League in Wellington for contributing to our Back To School fundraiser again this year! Today we received over $500 worth of backpacks and supplies, plus donations also came in last week. Thanks for helping kids in our community!
