Thank you so much Michael Hymus and Larry Hudson Chevrolet for your generous donations to the foodbanks in Prince Edward County from the “Eat For Charity” event held at Angry Bird’s. Thanks to you guys we each received $7,000. These funds will be used at the Storehouse Foodbank to purchase meat, dairy products and fresh vegetables and fruit. We also thank our wonderful community for all of the support it’s shown and for making a difference in the lives of others.

Exit Realty Group & Wellington Dukes Village Food Drive, Saturday, February 16 – Please put a non-perishable food item or toiletry item in the turquoise bag that will be delivered to you before the food drive either by mail or by home delivery and place on your front step by 10 a.m. Wellington on the Lake residents can drop off their donations to the Wellington on the Lake Rec Centre the week of February 16-23 in the basket in the front lobby. Tuesday night was the first night of the Kids Cooking Class – it was a great success! The kids truly enjoyed it and learned a lot! They made Veggie Chili Nachos and Raspberry Fool. Thank you Robyn Cakebread for teaching the class and sharing your expertise! Thank you to all our volunteers and the Wellington arena staff for helping us ensure this class went smoothly!
