Christmas Angels!
Christmas Angels are on the trees at the Wellington Legion, 364 Main Street and at the Consecon Legion, Mill Street. They are open after 3 pm. If you would like to buy a child a present for Christmas please take an Angel off the tree, the angel card will have the child’s first name, age, sex of the child and Christmas gift ideas. Please sign the sheet saying what child you took and add your phone number. All gifts need to be returned by Dec 15 please and thank you! There are also 7 angels on the tree at the Wellington United Church. If you can’t make it to the legion and would like to sponsor a child please let me know and I can take the tag off the tree and purchase the gift for you. You can either e-transfer funds to wellingtonstorehousefoodbank@gmail.com, mail a cheque to The Storehouse Foodbank, PO Box 441, Wellington, ON, K0K 3L0 or call me to make other arrangements 613-849-7403. Donations will be accepted at The Plum Pudding Market, tomorrow, Saturday November 17, at the Banquet Hall at Casa Dea Estate Winery. The event will run from 9 to 4 and collection jars will be set up at the bar where PETBO will be selling their fair trade coffee and on the Moonlight Kitchen table. Come support our local artisans, our County Bird Ojbservertary and our local Storehouse Foodbank! And pick up some local wine….one stop! Thank you!
Craft Show Fundraiser
Again we are filled with the Christmas spirit and are asking our customers to donate a non perishable food item for the Wellington Storehouse Food Bank. We will also raffle off a crafting item and donate the proceeds to The Wellington Food Bank. We hope that this helps and we look forward to another successful show and food drive.
