Thank you to Fran Renoy, this year’s winner of the Wellings Lifelong Achievement Award at the Prince Edward County Volunteer Award that was held on April 13, who on Friday, April 29 made a presentation at the Wellings of Picton leasing office, to Linda Downey of the Wellington & District Storehouse Foodbank of $500.00 The Wellings of Picton offered a donation of $500, on behalf of all three winners at the Volunteer Awards this year, to go to the organization of their choice. Fran chose to support the Storehouse Foodbank. Thank you for helping us, help others.IMG_0124 (2)

Thank You to Food To Share for Shepherd’s Pie

Thank you to Food To Share and all the hard working volunteers who made over 252 portions of Shepherd’s Pie today which was donated to both Wellington Storehouse Foodbank and Picton United Church County Foodbank.

Each container contained 4 portions and the smaller ones contained 2 portions. Thank you to the Wellington United Church and the Wellington Legion Branch 160 for allowing us to use their facilities to prepare and cook all the food. We couldn’t do it without your help.
