Here's the latest updates from StoreHouse FoodbankOn Friday, Dec 20, The Dukes partnered with the PEC Kings Minor Hockey. Attendees received tickets for a prize draw in exchange for a non perishable donation for the food bank. Volunteer Robert Kilbreath is with Charlene Cruickshank and members of the team. They collected about $800 in groceries and $113 in cash donations! Bravo, way to go! Thanks for thinking of others and for making a difference in their lives. We are grateful for your support!
St. Andrew’s Anglican Church Wellington donated an abundance of handknit items valued at about $2000! We were the lucky recipient of 12 lap robes, 13 prs of socks/slippers, 2 shawls, 31 hats, 5 scarves, 6 dolls, 7 sets, and 76 prs of mittens! Amazing! Thanks for all your time and hard work! These beautiful items are made with love for others in our community! What a blessing!
We are so grateful to Lori Foster and her team at The Dressing Room in Rossmore for organizing a toiletry drive for our food bank. The community was very generous and we received $1000 worth of toiletries for our families! Thanks for all your support Lori and for making a difference in our community!
