It’s that time of year again to support The Annual snow suit fund. The snow suit fund started small about 2004. Rock’n Roger’s had teamed up with the Salvation Army in Picton. Ladies used to knit hats, scarves, mittens and people used to donate snow suits. Then when Linda started the Storehouse food bank in Wellington we paired up with them. Linda and her hard works volunteer’s are a blessing to our community. Please come to Rock’n Rogers or Midtown Brewery and purchase a ticket or 2 to help our campaign to keep children warm this winter. Thanks in advance for helping our community. We have a bin inside our door for donations.  

The Wellington Storehouse Food Bank is proud to take part in Food Banks Canada’s #AftertheBellProgram. This vital initiative provides nutritious, kid-friendly food packs to children experiencing food insecurity across the country, particularly during the summer months when school meal programs aren’t available. These packs come to us carefully assembled with shelf stable staples like hummus, milk, crackers, oatmeal, granola bars, etc. After The Bell, September 14, Kashi bar, 2 apples, orange, banana, grapes, cherry tomatoes, mini cuke, cheese string, yogurt tube. This summer, we distributed 280 After the Bell packs and give kids the chance to make the most of their summer break. To learn more please visit
