Back to school is here! Which means it is time for our annual Nash Wellington Home Hardware Backpack Drive! We need 75 backpacks this year! @county.life Realtors have once again very generously donated the items to stuff the bags. We need you to purchase a backpack! Backpacks are $35 ea. You can donate in store or e transfer to evannash@gmail.com. tax receipts are available. Thank you PEC for helping our community!

Thank you Linda Donville for donating three canning baskets full of goodies with each basket containing everything for a client to be able to pickle 6 jars per basket. Thank you for making a difference to others in our community.

The Wellington Storehouse Food Bank is proud to take part in Food Banks Canada’s #AftertheBellProgram. This vital initiative provides nutritious, kid-friendly food packs to children experiencing food insecurity across the country, particularly during the summer months when school meal programs aren’t available. These packs come to us carefully assembled with shelf stable staples like hummus, milk, crackers, oatmeal, granola bars, etc. This week we added an apple, plum, banana, cucumber, cherry tomatoes and cheese string. This summer, we will be distributing 280 After the Bell packs and give kids the chance to make the most of their summer break. To learn more please visit
