If you have too much rhubarb we will take it for our clients please and thank you. We are open Monday from 9-12 and Wednesday from 9-3 but clients come at 1 so it’s best to have it to us if you can before 1 so we can package it up.

Thank you to Annelies & Wim Kerkhof from Wellington on the Lake who raised $720 for the foodbank in memory of Al Harrott, who was a foodbank volunteer for years. Thank you Annelies for all your hard work in growing the different types of grass, donating all the pots, dirt and plants to sell. Wim was her right hand helper in their endeavours to raise funds for the foodbank! Thank to Paulette Greer owner of Side Street Gallery who let them set up their fundraiser in front of the gallery on the long weekend. Thank you to everyone who purchased the plants and supported the fundraiser. Thank you everyone for making a difference to others in our community.

Only one more Wednesday left and we shut down for the summer and hopefully we get more funding to start up again in the fall we will keep you posted.….
