News & Upcoming Events

We had a lot of great volunteers show up to help us this past week! They helped get all the weekly regular boxes of food ready, the Christmas hampers, senior gift bags, produce bags, helped us with food drives, etc. We thank the following – Marilyn, Karen, Andrew, Stan, Evelyn, Linda, Christine, Joe, Michelle, Nancy, Bob, Norm, Coreta, Lily, Shirley and Jerry. Thank you so much with helping us, it really took a lot of stress away from us and gave us a chance to breathe a little easier. Along with these new volunteers our regular volunteers were in working away too and I want to thank them also for all they do, not just at Christmas but all year round Becky & Brian, Chris, Lynn, Lisa & Wallace, Toni & Mike, Rosemary, Bill & Dorothy, Erik & Kristlyn, Colin & Shelly, Lawrence & Clare, Fred, Chantal, Ruth, Cynthia & Michael and Christine. Thank you everyone for making a difference to others in our communities.

Thank you so much to the staff and students at Kente Public School in Ameliasburgh who donated five Christmas Hampers and a cheque for $200 to the foodbank today. Thank you for making a difference to others this Christmas Season.

Thank you to everyone who donated items for our Senior Gift bags. Thank you Essential Relaxation for the hand sanitizers, hand pump soaps and bars of soap. Thank you so much to Michelle Clayton and Nancy Puddy for putting all the senior gift bags together. Thank you Jerry and Shirley Jarvis for delivering them all. We really appreciate the difference you all have made to others this Christmas Season!

Thank you so much to Mr Coffey’s Grade 5 class from CML Snider who brought in reading books, colouring books, crayons and some art supplies to put into our Christmas Gift bags for the children. Thank you for making a difference to others this Christmas season.
