Thank you Chef Michael Hoy for all your hard work in making and delivering all the senior meals on Friday, November 5 – Rigatoni with Roasted Peppers, Italian Sausage, Tomatoes and Fresh Herbs. Thank you to the Wellington Legion for use of their kitchen. Thank you to Wendy Hendry for doing the deliveries in the Legion Manor. These Weekly Nutritional Meals for Seniors are supported by the grant received from The Huff Family Fund through The County Foundation in Prince Edward County. We thank you for making a difference to Seniors during these difficult times.

Thank you so much to Millefleurs Prince Edward County who donated $2000 to the foodbank. Thank you for making such a difference to others in our community.

Thank you to Redtail Vineyard who donated $2045.34 to the Foodbank. Thank you for creating the Nash Piquette and to everyone who purchased as these funds were included in the donation. Half of the funds were donated to Alchemy Artists Residency for the Table Settings Program which the foodbank is partnered with. Thank you Sharon Dempsey who took her $50 Rockn’ Rogers gift certificate that she won through the Snowsuit Campaign and changed it into 5-$10 gift certificates and then matched it buy purchasing another 5-$10 gift certificates and donated them back to the foodbank for us to give out to the kids that volunteer at the foodbank as a little treat for them.

Thank you so much to The Children’s Foundation from Petsmart in Belleville who along with other Petsmarts run the chance and lucky toy drive program where customers can purchase a stuffed animal and donate it to the Petsmart toy drive. Today they donated 3 huge bags full of stuffed animals for our Christmas Children’s Angel Program. Thank you for making a difference to children in our area this holiday season.

Thank you so much to Wellington Tim Hortons for donating 7 cases of coffee and 12 cases of hot chocolate for our Christmas Hampers. Thank you Paul Massey for making a difference to others this Christmas Season.
