As part of McDougall Insurance’s 75th Anniversary Celebration they donated $650 to the Storehouse Foodbank. Thank you so much for making a difference to others in our community.

Thank you to everyone who donated in our Back to School jar at Rock’n Rogers, it raised $115.95. Thank you for making a difference to the children in our community!

Thank you so much Wendy Channel of Lakeshore Farms for donating 10 backpacks and lunch bags today. Thank you to everyone who donated funds in the donation jar at Lakeshore Farms which raised $172.40 for back to school supplies. We can’t thank you enough for making a difference to the children in our communities!

Cram the Cruiser Back to School Event – Saturday, August 28 from 10am-2pm, Piersons Foodland Parking Lot. Please bring a non-perishable food item for kid’s lunches and breakfast – cereal, oatmeal, juice boxes, Granola bars, soup, crackers, jello or pudding cups, etc. or purchase a $5 pre-packaged bag from Foodland and help us Cram a Cruiser full to help ensure the children in our community have a great start back to school.

Foodbank Fundraiser – Williem and Annelies Kerkhof of 36 Conger Drive Wellington are selling these ornamental Grasses with all proceeds going to the foodbank – 12 potted Miscanthus Porcupine for $10 each and 13 Miscanthus Gigantus for $5 each, please call them at 613-399-1667 if you are interested in purchasing any.
