Here's the latest updates from StoreHouse FoodbankNotice
This is what we each client received in our fresh produce boxes this week, potatoes, turnip, carrots, onions, lettuce, cucumber, celery, red pepper, asparagus, tomatoes, rhubarb, apples, oranges and strawberries. Thank you to Doug Schofield who donated the asparagus and to everyone who brought in rhubarb. Some of our produce was purchased at Lakeshore Farms, we want to support our local farmers! These fresh produce boxes are part of the Good Food Access Fund, we are grateful to the Government of Canada and Community Food Centres Canada for providing essential funding to help us offer emergency food relief in our community. Thanks @JustinTrudeau @mclaudebibeau @AAFC_Canada!

Thank you so much to the two beautiful ladies from the Legion Manor – Inge Scott and Betty Cronk who are staying busy during the Covic isolation and thinking of others – Inge has knitted 32 hats for our fall SnowSuit Campaign, a pair of booties and crochet 3 grocery bags for our clients. Betty has knitted 2 hats so far. These women are amazing and deserve great praise for all their hard work! Thank you for thinking of others during this difficult time!
