To Prince Edward County Federation of Agriculture President John Thompson and Kenda Nurse for initiating help with food insecurity in the county – The following agricultural organzations donated $1150 to the Storehouse Foodbank – Prince Edward Federation of Agriculture Kenda Nurse $250, Prince Edward County Dairy Producer Greg Elliott $250, Prince Edward County 4-H Association Lynn Ward $150, Prince Edward Cattleman’s Association $250 and Picton Agricultural Society $250. Thank you everyone for making such a big difference to others in our communities. The same amount from each donor was also giving to the Picton United Church Foodbank.

Thank you so much Chef Michael Hoy – Foodbank Volunteer for the Pork Tenderloin Medallions with Mushroom Cream Sauce, Sweet Potatoe, Spinach & Brussel Sprouts Meals you made for the residents at the Legion Manor on Friday night! These meals were sponsored by the Storehouse Foodbank. Thank you to the Wellington Legion for allowing Michael the use of the kitchen facilities to prepare all the meals.
