      For the month of May Closson Chase Vineyards are offering customers the opportunity to donate $5 to the Storehouse Food Bank. In an effort to give back during these challenging times, Closson Chase will match each donation dollar for dollar.       Thank you so much to the Realtors of Prince Edward County RE/MAX Quinte Ltd. who donated $500 to the foodbank yesterday! Kevin Gale and Veronica Norton of RE/MAX presented the cheque to Storehouse Foodbank Fund Raising Co-ordinator Cynthia Riordon pictures in the middle. Thank you for making a difference in our communities!

   We received 520 Hampers of Food on Monday – Feed Ontario received the money to make the hampers up from Food Banks Canada which received it from the Federal Government and then the hampers were given out to food banks. Thank you everyone for all your hard work – Feed Ontario for making the hampers up, the staff at the Quinte Regional Food Share Shelter warehouse at Gleaners for helping us load and organize it all and all the Storehouse volunteers and new helpers who picked them all up from Belleville and brought to our foodbank. Thank you to the Federal Government for the funds given to Food Banks Canada to make this all happen. Together we are all making a difference during this difficult time!

Prince Edward County Lavender donated 100 bottles of Lavender Liquid Hand Soap on April 5th for all our Easter Hampers. Derek and Rolande have the biggest hearts, every Christmas they donate soaps for the hampers too. Thank you for making such a difference to others in our community!
