Thank you so much to Harwood Estate Vineyards who surprised 12 of the Foodbank volunteers today with a bottle of Windward White Wine and free tasting passports. A nice gift for each of the hard workers. Diana Schaap from Harwood was the friendly deliverer. Really appreciate you thinking of us at this difficult time. It will be a nice treat to have with Easter dinner.

A big Thank you to every one who donated either food or funds towards our Easter Hampers today! Thank you to Essential Relaxation for the bars of soap. Thank you to the Wellington Lions Club for the Easter Bunnies and Councillor Bill Roberts for the Easter eggs. Thank you to Fields on West Lake for the Apple Cider. Thank you to PEC Lavender Farm for the chocolate and liquid hand soap. Thank you to John Thompson Farms for donating whole chickens. Thank you to CB Freezers for the pork chops. Thank you to County Farm Centre for donating all the apple pies. Thank you everyone for making Easter special during this difficult time and for making such a difference in the lives of others in our communities.

Because of the local beef, chicken and pig farmers we are able to have meat for the foodbank. We can’t thank you enough for all you do and for always helping others not only during a crisis but all year! Also thank you to all the other farmers in the county that provide produce, honey, etc. throughout the year! We are so grateful for all your hard work and appreciate all that you do to ensure food is available for our families!
