What a kind and caring community we live in 💞. Thanks to Lakeshore Farms for their generous donation of strawberries, peas, and peppers this week. Local businesses supporting local families. Thanks for enriching the lives of others. 

What a bounty from the County! This week’s produce bag included fresh delicious strawberries and peas from Lakeshore Farms, and beautiful kale, spinach and leafy greens from Amy at Chase One Farms. 1. On June 7, Jim and Sharon Crowells held a Memorial Golf Tournament in honour of their son Stephen. There were 57 golfers and 9 donors and they raised $1550 to support the food bank! We are grateful for the generous donation and thank you for helping families in need in our community!

Teamwork!!! This week the Food to Share team prepared 55 senior meals – chicken leg, potatoes, mixed veg. Many thanks to the kitchen team for their volunteer time, to the County for the use of the Wellington arena kitchen, and to Paul Edmonds for taking care of the deliveries. We are blessed to have these meals for seniors in our community!
