The kids made Chicken Shawarma Salad Bowls tonight, very delicious! Thank you Robyn Cakebread/Nourished Self for teaching and sharing your knowledge with not only the Kids Cooking Class but also the Adult Cooking Classes that run every Thursday from 1-3 too. Thank you Foodbank volunteers Toni Murphy and Cynthia Riordon for helping me out with these classes.

Thank you so much to the Wellington Elks Lodge who donated $1500 today towards the cost of the Christmas Hampers. Elk President Randy Vincent presented the cheque to Foodbank Treasurer Bill Mitchell. Thank you for making such a difference to others in our community!

Can’t ask for a better group of people, just amazing hard workers and all volunteers! Thanks Food to Share for making 60 servings of Roast Pork, Sausage and Tomato Stew with a side serving of Cornbread. Thanks Foodbank volunteers Becky & Brian McFaul for doing all the deliveries!
