$815 was donated to the Foodbank yesterday from the Chili Cook off. Thank you everyone for making a difference to others in our community.

With Grateful Hearts We Say Thank you! Today we raised $4354.25 at the Rockn Rogers Customer Appreciation Day Snowsuit Fundraiser! Thank you to the District Women’s Institute who gave us a cheque for $1118. Thank you to all the Silent Auction donors because of your donations $1530 was raised in the Silent Auction. The rest of the funds that came in today was from donations from those who attended the event. We want to thank The Reasons, Tefri from Midnight DJ, PEC Fire Station 7 Public Education, Fantashe Face & Body Art, Mr. Barzinga’s Balloon Twisting, Airbrush Tattoo, Pierson’s Foodland who sponsored the Root Beer Drinking Contest, East Lake Bikes, Roger Stanley for sponsoring our radio ad on 99.3 County FM. Thank you to The Legionauts and Dave & Jill Akey who paid for the arena and the Arena Staff who ensured everything was ready for us. Thank you to Rockn’ Rogers and Staff for all you do for this community! Thank you to the Foodbank volunteers and other volunteers who came out to make this event possible.Thank you to Stephanie Solowoski County Real Estate for sponsoring the cost for the Face Painter and prizes for the colouring contest. Thank you to Amanda Pascoe, for her donations to the colouring contest and the colouring basket. A Big Thank you to all of you who came out to support the Snowsuit Fundraiser and Rockn’ Rogers Customer Appreciation Day and for donating towards our cause! You have helped us make a difference in our community ensuring children will stay warm this winter because of your generosity.

  1st afternoon of Adults Cooking Classes was yesterday. Great group of ladies made Veggie Chili Nachos. Thank you to Robyn Cakebread of Nourished Self for teaching the class, Anne Heathcote, Nina Rogers and Toni Beaudrie for volunteering your time. Also present to help with the cooking classes from Prince Edward Learning Centre – Lori Farrington and Jennifer Nelson. I also want to thank the arena staff for all your help! Looking forward to the next seven classes.

  1st night of Kids Cooking Classes was last night. Great group of future chefs who made Veggie Chili Nachos. Thank you to the arena staff for all your help! Looking forward to the next five classes with these guys such an amazing group of kids!

   Thank you to everyone who donated to the Legionauts last Friday at the Legion towards the Snowsuit Fund! Thank-you to the Legionauts for making such a difference to others in our communities! We can’t thank everyone enough for all your help!
