Maple in the County!
Nyman Farms will be collecting non perishable food items for the county food banks at maple in the county 🙂 donation is not manditory and is accepted from anyone who is able or would like to donate. Apple cider available for a good will cash donation

In tonight’s Kids Cooking Class the kids made taco pie, chicken pie and fruit salad! Yummy! Great job everyone! Thankyou Robyn for teaching your expertise to this great group of kids! Thank you Toni and Cynthia for all your help! Last Kids Cooking Class is next Thursday – please note it won’t be Tuesday night but Thursday! Looking forward to making pizza and black bean brownies with all of you!

Thank you so much County Kids Read for donating cookbooks to each of our students that are in our Kids Cooking Class! They were so excited and can’t wait to start making some of the delicious recipes! Thank you for all you do in making such a difference to the children in Prince Edward County!

Thankyou so much to all Food to Share Volunteers who cooked 50 meals – Italian sausages, pierogies with sautéed onions, roasted zucchini, peppers and mushrooms, and a side of sour cream for our seniors and clients! They also made 36 containers of apple crisp to put into our Easter Hampers! You guys are amazing! Thank you to the Wellington Legion for the use of their facilities! You guys are making such a difference to others in our community! We appreciate all you to to help us help others!

Thank you so much to the Wellington & District Lions Club who donated 117 Easter Bunnies to the Foodbank on Wednesday for our Easter Hampers – they are ensuring that each child who comes to the foodbank will have a nice chocolate bunny! Thank you guys for making such a difference in our community!
