Thanks to Dave and Justin for the extra delivery last week. Once a month we receive a delivery of shelf stable and fresh food from our Tri -County Warehouse in Belleville. We appreciate all you do at Gleaners Food Bank to support the local food banks in Hastings and Prince Edward, including sourcing donations and writing grants to purchase food.

Our hearts are filled with great sadness. Fred Herbert, a friend and long time volunteer at the food bank, passed away last week. He was gentle and kind, always smiling and spreading good cheer with his sense of humour. Fred was a man with a big heart who touched many lives. He will be forever remembered and missed and his memory will live on in our hearts 💕. Our deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Feb 19 Senior Meal – Roast Pork Tenderloin with Sauce Soubise Fusilli & Broccoli. Many thanks to Chef Michael Hoy for preparing and delivering 65 meals to seniors in our community. We are grateful to the Wellington Legion for the use of the kitchen. Thanks for helping us care for others in our community.
