Here's the latest updates from StoreHouse Foodbank

Thank you to Dave and Sue Holmes for delivering the trailer of food donations from the Consecon United Church and the community. We received about $700 in groceries, toiletries, and cleaning products. We are so blessed! Thanks for helping us make a difference!

We are blessed to live in such a caring and giving community! The Consecon United Church donated $820 from their community suppers in November and December, and on Giving Sunday, the members donated over $600 to the food bank! Thanks for your generous support and for helping families in our community!

We are so grateful for the community support! CML Snider School organized a Holiday Food Drive for us and they collected about $1700 in food donations! Thanks to the staff, the parents and students, and the Principal, Kathryn Acorn, for their support and for helping families in need at Christmas. 

On December 8th, the Wellington – Consecon Firefighters Association held their toy drive and annual Teddy Bear toss at the Dukes game. Thank you for the donation of toys and stuffed animals for the children this Christmas! Together we can make a difference! It takes a village! We are grateful for the support from the Rotary Club of Wellington throughout the year. Thank you for purchasing $1000 in gift cards for the teenagers this Christmas! Thanks for bringing joy to others and for helping us make a difference! Thank you to GlobalMedic for the donation of rice, chick peas and lentils. United Way Hastings & Prince Edward was a key partner in organizing the distribution. We received 3 cases of each item. Lawrence Northway, volunteer, picked up the items from Liz McLennan, administrative coordinator, UWHPE. Thanks for supporting our community!
