Here's the latest updates from StoreHouse Foodbank

Food to Share volunteers Paul, Jim, Cheryl and Reid made baked ham with apple raisin sauce, scalloped potatoes and green beans for the Wellington food bank. Thanks Food to Share volunteers and thanks to the County of PEC for letting use the Wellington arena kitchen.

The Wellington Christmas Choir Concert was held on Sunday and they raised $1000 for us and collected $1000 in food donations! We are so blessed to have the support and community partnerships that help us make a difference in our community! Thanks for your love and care and for thinking of others. 

  • We are so grateful for the community support for the food drive at Busy Hands this past weekend. We received about $2000 in groceries and $200 in cash donations. Thanks to Bay, Vicki and Michelle for organizing the food drive on behalf of the food banks. We appreciate the support!

On Friday we filled 124 bags with items as part of the Christmas Hamper for families. Thanks to our volunteer team for their time and effort. We are grateful for all you do! Left to right: Bill Pennell, Chris Compeau, Jacquie Verry, Debbie and Brian Lumley.

Thank you to Wellington Pharmacy for their generous donations throughout the year- toilet paper, tissue, shampoo and conditioner. We are grateful for your support and thank you for helping us make a difference in our community. 

100% of the proceeds from the Tim Hortons SMILE Cookie campaign in Wellington was donated to our food bank. We received $1031.25! A huge thank you to Mohammed and his team at Tim’s in Wellington for their time and generous support, and to the community for purchasing cookies. Thanks for your kindness, and for helping others in need.
