This is what our clients received in their fruit & vegetable bags today, We purchased 35 Fruit & 35 Vegetable bags this week from Community Development Council Quinte the Good Food Box. We also added produce that was donated by Blue Wheelbarrow Farms, Lynn Gillingham from the Community Garden and some other produce was donated by local gardeners. These fresh fruit bags are part of the Good Food Access Fund, we are grateful to the Government of Canada and Community Food Centres Canada for providing essential funding to help us offer emergency food relief in our community.
