We were Mugged! – Volunteer & Information Quinte came into the foodbank on Wednesday to thank and recognize the foodbank volunteers for all their hard work during Covid and presented us with a mug full of treats and a bag of chocolate from Donini Chocolate bars.
Thank you so much Chef Michael Hoy for all your hard work in making 50 Chicken Paprikash Rotini Meals with Broccoli and Mill Creek Farm’s Peas for the seniors on Thursday and for delivering them. Each meal included a treat – freshly made donut from Lakeshore Farms. These meals are part of the Good Food Access Fund, we are grateful to the Government of Canada and Community Food Centres Canada for providing essential funding to help us offer emergency food relief in our community.
